From the Author
The idea of writing this particular book, Handbook of Jesus’ Parables, came to me while I was a young boy living in Costa Rica. While I was attending a private school I was mystically drawn to an old book that was on my teacher’s bookshelf. It turned out to be a Bible. The very first story I came upon was the writing of the prophet Samuel and his accounting of King David. At that time I did not realize I was reading a Bible, but I was instantly transfixed and permanently hooked. From that moment I felt compelled to study, and much later on, write about Biblical subjects. The parables of Jesus were immensely important to me – and I dare say this – I thoroughly understand every single word and I have an uncanny ability to interpret them. It is because of this “profound insight” that I set upon researching the original Koine Greek writings so I could bring to life Jesus’ entire 37 parables in a simple English translation. I am the only author – ever – who has accomplished their compete rewrite in such an endeavor. I’ve seen many others try, and a few I could have even sued for infringements on my copyright. Nevertheless, the fact remains, among them all, only my collection presents all the parables in a premium and universal rendering with proper quotation marks, sentence breaks, and poetic manifestations. Again – no other writer presents to the reader the strong gift of accuracy that my book presents. Such an uncanny ability to reproduce His Son’s thoughts are a gift from God. This ability I performed in my other books as well.
I would like to share with you an interesting thing that happened to me. On October 3rd, 1990 the President of the United States Copyright Office personally called me on the phone to congratulate me on gaining the copyright to the Handbook of Jesus’ Parables. He informed me that many have tried in the past 200 years to obtain it, and all were denied – except for myself. What they did was to write a bit of this and that, but none were devoted exclusively to the exact manifestation of Jesus’ words. When I renewed the copyright on September 9th, 2002, I received a second enthusiastic call from the Copyright Office about the Handbook of Jesus’ Parables, again informing me that the United States Government endorsed my exclusive and sole ownership of the parables. What a remarkable thing to present to an individual by the world’s most powerful government – an acknowledgment of Christ’s voice speaking solely through my fingers his own divine words.
Which leads me to this point – due to the incredible gift from God for me to create exciting and accurate Biblical literature with supernatural insights, God indeed called on me to write Shiloh, Unveiled as well as The Final Comparative of the Synoptic Gospels.
The companion book to Handbook of Jesus’ Parables is Jesus of the Four Gospels. Both books are at once enjoyable and comprehensible to the reader. Both books are the purest translations of any Biblical tool ever presented to mankind. These two books indeed belong in every household.
Once again, the Handbook of Jesus’ Parables does use quotation marks, short story lines, and simplified English that is directly translated from the Koine Greek, along with drawing to call more attention to the parables. Without a doubt this would make a wonderful companion to the Bible. It will also serve as a grand introduction to the young readers the words that Jesus actually spoke. Through his words a kernal of spiritual enlightenment may draw them in to a life long commitment toward his saving truths. Moreover, the burden of hunting for the parables in the Bible is gone. This small book serves as a quick reference to read over and over again. This version is far superior to the International Version. Its poetry even outshines the King James.
This project was one of my most enjoyable projects with Bible literature. It is certainly a very remarkable work. It is not a phony book as the vast majority of “supposed to be parable books” are. It is not filled with false commentary or misguiding conclusions. All 37 stories are directly from Jesus’ lips exactly as he wanted them to be presented to mankind. Similar to my other writing tasks, when I wrote the Handbook of Jesus’ Parables, I felt an ethereal radiance encompassing my entire being, and the words that flow from the tips of my fingers certainly testify to the Creator’s trust in me.
These comments belong to my Birdcatcher book – but they demonstrate my talents. Prof Wilson wrote: “His work is outstanding…He truly succeeds in making one want to know why and what next. He has a power of psychological involvement which is exceptional.” Prof Carkeet wrote: “A breathtakingly good story — a strong, violent, moving tale set in Vietnam…high quality in style and intellectual intrigue with a visionary streak.”
This about one of my other books: “Your work is often of astonishing brilliance…some of the most powerful writing I’ve ever seen in a writer…I would expect you to become a writer of serious note…I am deeply impressed by your book.” And another: “Powerful writing…excellent action writing…amazing talent.” There are many such statements.
