First Voices: 10th Anniversary Compilation

First Voices is an enlightening and inspirational book that delves into the importance of faith and religion among the first personalities recorded in the biblical book of Genesis. The tribulations and trials of all familiar persons, from Adam to Enoch to Noah to Abraham to Jacob to Judah—plus many more—are presented with new interpretations shattering all old myths and concepts to extrordianry depths of emotions and resolutions. First Voices is the absolutely best written novel ever published. It is presented in a similar vein to other novels such as Quo Vadis, Ben-Hur, The Robe, etc.

The theme is to present in sweeping terms that God is the supreme being and that He has established a fool-proof plan of salvation for mankind.

The Birdcatcher: 30th Anniversary Revisit

Three men meet in Vietnam and become involved in a psychological struggle in a world of mysticism, black marketing, CIA espionage, revenge, and horrific helicopter battle campaigns. The story begins when FBI agent Alignman investigates an occult movement and its links to drugs and politics. To discover its origin and to capture its leaders, Alignman encounters Jarrett who is a retired CIA agent, voluntarily living in a mental ward. Only Jarrett understands the origin and the personality of the occult movement that first began in Vietnam during the Tet Offensive of 1972. In Dr. Petersons office, Jarrett recalls a series of events which bring into an acute focus his struggle to maintain his identity against the whims of evil and good. Badlock and Nicewander enter Jarrett’s arena of good and evil where all realities intertwine and merge into a surrealism recalling Dante and Faust. The Birdcatcher, who resides in Hades, also enters the stadium of this mystical struggle and sets in motion the terrible and horrific events that will spell either the damnation or the redemption of Jarrett.

Handbook of Jesus’ Parables

The idea of writing this particular book, Handbook of Jesus’ Parables, came to me while I was a young boy living in Costa Rica. While I was attending a private school I was mystically drawn to an old book that was on my teacher’s bookshelf. It turned out to be a Bible. The very first story I came upon was the writing of the prophet Samuel and his accounting of King David. At that time I did not realize I was reading a Bible, but I was instantly transfixed and permanently hooked. From that moment I felt compelled to study, and much later on, write about Biblical subjects. The parables of Jesus were immensely important to me – and I dare say this – I thoroughly understand every single word and I have an uncanny ability to interpret them. It is because of this “profound insight” that I set upon researching the original Koine Greek writings so I could bring to life Jesus’ entire 37 parables in a simple English translation. I am the only author – ever – who has accomplished their compete rewrite in such an endeavor. I’ve seen many others try, and a few I could have even sued for infringements on my copyright. Nevertheless, the fact remains, among them all, only my collection presents all the parables in a premium and universal rendering with proper quotation marks, sentence breaks, and poetic manifestations. Again – no other writer presents to the reader the strong gift of accuracy that my book presents. Such an uncanny ability to reproduce His Son’s thoughts are a gift from God. This ability I performed in my other books as well.

Jesus of the Four Gospels

Jesus of the Four Gospels blends the books of Mathew, Mark, Luke, and John into a single source.

To achieve this single reading the author went to the original Koine Greek. From that source Walter Schenck presented a new interpretation in simply, modern English. There are quotation marks, true sentence structures, paragraphs, and the actual Hebrew names of the saints.

When you read Jesus of the Four Gospels it’s like reading a short novel with the added benefit of having a truthful rendition of the Holy Gospels without corruption or interpolations or personal injections or misleading conclusions. A version that any person of any faith can read.

Shiloh, Unveiled: Part One

Who was Jesus? A fanatical pretender to the throne? The son of God sent to reconcile men’s sins? Or, the leader of a failed revolution, executed in shame? Perhaps all things at once. This epic novel weaves multiple plots, subplots, and complex themes personalizing ALL the historic figures crisscrossing Jesus’ life.

Herod the Great, who wanted to be the Messiah. Antipas, manipulated by the Sandherin and Herodias. Zechariah’s scheme to create a Jewish Empire with John and Jesus at its epicenter.

One incredible drama after another unfolds in this giant exploration of previously unthinkable adventures of Jesus. Never have the roles of mother, uncle, aunt, and grandparents been so dramatically demonstrated against a background of voracious politics and religion.

These intense and original scenes luminously reveal every thought and word that Jesus spoke in a fresh interpretation, rendered courageously and superbly. This novel is a vast, world-class achievement that delves into forbidden territory without shame or timidity. I cannot think of another writer who has the depth, insight, and spiritual intellect that Walter Schenck has. Simply, he is the best.

World’s Greatest Artists

I have long loved the symphonic overtures of a brush against canvas. Th e whimsical strokes, the powerful rushes, the soft, immaculate renderings all attract me to a plain of gratitude and memories and wishful fantasies.

To confess, I also wrote this collection of essays as an exercise in intellectual enrichment concerning one of my favorite subjects: great artists. I have traveled throughout the world and visited some of the most fabulous museums imaginable so I may gleam a small portion of the lives of the artists whom I selected for this brief book.

The Final Comparative of the Synoptic Gospels: Part One

This is for the serious Biblical student who wants to know exactly how I rendered the placement of context for my other books: Jesus of the Four Gospels as well as Shiloh, Unveiled.

There are four distinct columns with the heading of Matthew, Mark, Luke, John – when four columns are present, a single compilation is performed within its own box. Where I only have one rendering, that is all that is presented. With two – then the two are merged into one on the adjoining column. When three, the three will be merged into one in an adjoining column.

Priests and Warriors

Priests and Warriors is the story of the founding of the Eternal Nation of Yisra’el. It begins with the tribulations, mercies, and resolutions of Yehuway involved in establishing among humans a country devoted to obeying and practicing His laws. Since obedience is the prime directive, this book has incorporated the entirety of the Mosaic Laws, as well as the Admonitions and Rewards covenant with the Israelites made while they traveled through the Wilderness of Zin.

The Dark Diceman

The creator of The Birdcatcher, a Vietnam war novel that was far ahead of its time at the time of its publication, has done it again. This extraordinary, impressive writer has now created The Dark Diceman – an experimental novel that blends elements of science fiction with nitty-gritty realism.

Throughout this brilliant, revolutionary, panoramic visionary writing, Mr. Schenck’s newest novel explores the mundane life of salespeople in a schlock furniture store intertwined with the urbane drug scene, and the all-too-big-to-fail mortgage market—along with explicit sexual fantasies and the libertine cult of a megachurch. Space aliens, sex-orgies, drug-dealers, sex-bondage, a corrupt mortgage company, fantasies, soul-saving redemption, FBI intrigue, and religiously perverse practices with inspiring doctrines set amidst the times of total annihilation of the human race intertwine to form the nucleus of The Dark Diceman. Elements that only a bold, forward thinker like Mr. Schenck can achieved in a truly accessible manner.
